Terms of Service
Last updated: April 14, 2026
These terms govern your use of Humanframe. By creating an account you agree to them. Please read them carefully — they are written to be readable, not to obscure anything.
The service
Humanframe is a private photography journal. It lets you log shooting sessions, upload frames, mark keepers, write reflections, and optionally share sessions with other users or the public. Access is by invitation only.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Humanframe.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Do not share your credentials.
- Each invite link is single-use and personal. Do not distribute your invite link publicly.
- You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion removes all your data from our systems within 30 days.
Your content
You own everything you upload — your photos, notes, and reflections remain yours. By uploading content you grant Humanframe a limited licence to store and display it to you (and, if you mark sessions public, to other users). We do not claim ownership of your work, sell it, or use it for advertising.
You must not upload content that:
- Infringes the copyright or privacy rights of others
- Contains illegal material of any kind
- Is intended to harass, threaten, or deceive
We may remove content that violates these terms and suspend or close accounts that repeatedly do so.
Public sessions and the community
When you mark a session as public, its contents — including photos, intent, and reflection — become visible to anyone with the link, and optionally to users browsing the community section. You can make a session private again at any time, which removes it from the community grid immediately. Links shared externally may remain accessible in caches for a short period.
Service availability
Humanframe is provided as-is. We aim to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change features or discontinue the service with reasonable notice. If we decide to shut down, we will give users at least 30 days to export their data.
Liability
Humanframe is a small independent product. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (which, as the service is currently free, is zero). This does not affect any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Oslo, unless local consumer protection law in your country requires otherwise.
